About VCTLI
A national and international hub for research, teacher development, and educational innovation in mathematics.
To protect and cultivate mathematical thinking in an age of artificial intelligence.
The VIASM Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (VCTLI) was officially launched on 22 May 2026 under the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM).
We bring together mathematics educators, cognitive scientists, and AI researchers to study a defining question of our time: how can AI augment — rather than replace — the human capacity for mathematical reasoning?
The Center works with universities, schools, and research groups in Vietnam and abroad, with a long-term commitment to improving mathematics education in Hanoi and across the country.
